I found some kids!

Now what? What do I do without her here? You know I don’t do well on my own. I tend to get into trouble when left to my own devices. I don’t mean to, but it just happens.
It is technically still winter, so I really should be hibernating, but I’m staying at this house and the two people-cubs are so noisy when they get home that I barely get my 18 hours of sleep each day.
Speaking of which, a nap sounds good right about now. I’m sad, I miss my girl, but I will do my best to be a tough bear, and I’ll try to have some fun along the way.

The girl with the flag

I tried to get on that bus. I really did.

I heard some gruff voice saying I wasn’t “tall enough” or even “a real person”, but I really wanted to go. All those soldiers saying goodbye to families and friends and here I sit watching my big girl carry that flag out the door. It made my tummy hurt.

I miss her so much it makes me want to growl real loud and scare that bus driver so bad he’ll just turn around and bring her home.

I would have tried to bite him but I couldn’t climb up the big steps on my own.
